Fall festival, basketball clinic coming this weekend

A free fall fun fest for children ages toddlers through fifth grade from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdsay, Oct. 29 at PESH Buildings 1 and 2. Park in the staff parking lot and follow the yellow footprints.
“Paloween” is a safe activity and treating environment, organizers said. “Bring your children into Building 1 to enjoy treats and fun activities provided by friendly hosts but please keep costumes fun and age appropriate so younger children won’t be scared to participate.”
The event is sponsored by Plano East PALS and other campus organizations.
The Plano East Basketball clinic will be Saturday, Oct. 31.
The girls session will be from 8 to 11 a.m. and the boys class from 1 to 4 p.m.
The workshop is designed for players in second through sixth grades. Players will be grouped by age and ability, organizers siad.
The course will help students develop basketball skills through drills taught under the supervision of Plano East coaches and players.
Girls check in begins at 7:30 a.m.; boys, 12:30 p.m.
The Plano East Senior High School Gymnasium is located at 3000 Los Rios Blvd. in Plnao.
Cost is $35 per player and includes a T-shirt and basketball.
Registration is limited to 200 players per clinic so advanced registration is recommended, clinic organizers said.
Checks should be made payable to the Plano East Senior High Basketball Booster Club.
