The postal collection box that had been located in the Old Murphy City Hall parking lot has been removed.
To encourage a more convenient drop off location, the new collection box has been moved to the new City Hall, 206 N. Murphy Rd., city officials said It is located directly south of the employee entrance doors on the south side of thel building and is available as a drive-thru drop off.
"This is the first step in a multi step process to make City Hall a more customer service friendly environment," the city said in a news release. "We will notify the community as these additions are implemented and look forward to providing a more customer service friendly environment."
