Lady Panthers knock off FMM to open district

Plano East made a clear statment Friday that it intends to be a major player in District 8-5A.
 
Over the course of four games, the Lady Panthers dispatched a strong Flower Mound Marcus squad 25-16, 12-25, 25-18, 25-22. The win improved PESH’s overall record to 16-11 and 1-0 in district.
 
The Lady Panthers traveled Tuesday to powerful Plano West, whom they beat at the Allen Tournament, and will host Allen 7 p.m. Friday. After that, it’s another road trip for PESH, this one taking place 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Hebron.
